Since I am currently waiting for the Iron Sky movie to end here in Lappeenranta (I got to see it yesterday and it ROCKED SO HARD!!!!!) I decided to give you a little clip of yesterdays premiere, where you can also see a glimpse of mee passing the Schok-Ka-Kola to audience :)

This week is going to be epic! I'm mentally starting to get ready for all the crazyness that is about to happen. Not only do I have two burlesque shows in the end of the week and my best friends birthday party to attend to I also got assigned to be one of the official promotional girls for Varusteleka and their collaboration with the finnish Space Nazi movie! The crew is travelling in 20 of Finland's cities to show the preview of the movie and you also have a chance to discuss and ask questions from the crew and production theme about the movie for a whole 45 min! My job is to look smashing in my nazi girl outfit. Sounds hard right? I am absolutely thrilled since some of you who might have read my blog a bit longer might know what a sucker I am for nazi movies and there I am, promoting a huge FINNISH movie (that is actually the most expensive finnish movie ever made!). I think I fit very well for the promo girl, don't you think? :)

Anyway so I'm travelling to Joensuu, Mikkeli and Lappeenranta and then later I'll be promoting here in Tampere as well. But a lot of travelling for me this week then, I will be in 6 different cities during this week... Phew!

And the ones of you who have no clue what I'm talking about, you HAVE to look at this trailer and come to the same conclusion as me: that movie is going to kick some serious ass!

Vacation starts in 3-2-1 NOW!

(That's us in London 4 years ago in 2008. 4 YEARS?!!? Goddamn the time flies...)

Tomorrow me and my boo are finally heading to Berlin for some quality time with each other. I am sooo looking forward to aimless walks around the city and eating good food and finding some adventures.

So I'll see you next week / in March at earliest. Wohoo!

Haluaisitko oppia laittamaan kutrisi kuin lempinäyttelijälläsi vuosikymmenten takaa? Tai kenties oppia muutaman meikkiniksin vintage-henkiseen meikkiin?

Tässä workshopissa voit viettää iltapäivää herkutellen, kaunistautuen ja kuunnellen teemaan sopivaa musiikkia ja halutessa jatkaa iltaa viimeisen päälle laitettuna johonkin ihanaan kuppilaan! Tämä on samanlainen workshop kuin aiemmin (13.8, 3.9, 1.10 ja 14.1) järjestetyt!

Tarkoituksena on opetella helpohkoja kampaustekniikoita, joilla saat itsesi loihdittua hiuksesi lempi vuosikymmenesi tyylin mukaisesti! Käymme läpi eri tekniikoita 20-50 luvuilta, opettelemme erilaisten kiharoiden tekoa, asusteiden käyttöä ja myös erilaisia arkikampauksia. Punaisena lankana kuitenkin, että kaikki olisi melko helposti toteutettavissa myös kotona!

Lisäksi workshopissa opettelemme muutamia meikkiniksejä vintagetyyliseen meikkiin. Kaikk workshopissai tarvittavat materiaalit (pinnit, harjat ym.) ilmoitetaan varmistuneille osallistujille sähköpostitse.

Workshopissa tarjoillaan hieman kuohuvaa ja leivonnaisia, osallistujien halutessa myös teetä ja kahvia ja osallistujat saavat yllätyslahjan!

Berlin calling!

So darlings, now I need your help! After an exhausting and mindblowing Helsinki Burlesque Festival, I'm heading to Berlin next week with my partner in crime, Mr. Rouge. So what I'm asking from you is all kind of tips on what to do, what to see, where to go, where to eat/party/spend your money in?

As I said, I'm going there for VACATION (wait, what's that?) so I won't be performing this time. It seems weird since the last (gazillion) times I've been abroad, I have always packed a costume to do some shaking in, but not this time! I figured I need some vacation after all this crazyness AND I'm not even bringing my laptop with me! I might have completely lost it at this point..

Anyway please do let me know any kind of hints that you might have! I'm open to all suggestion so TELL ME! :)

In other news the Vapriikki Vintage was a huge success, we had so much fun with Cherrie performing in the middle of the Lady Ostapeck exhibition and historical clothing. I also made lots of new contacts and saw some lovely people and had a blast.

Next week the crazyness gets even more crazy, it is only a few weeks before the 5th Helsinki Burlesque Festival is here and I'm doing a brand new act called Jungle Queen and us Holy Curves! have something special coming up for you as well. And since our costumes are nowhere near being ready, I'm getting kind of nervous wheter they'll ever be. Well we'll see.

But before the festival there is still other things to do, like travel to up north in Tornio and Levi with our darling Itty Bitty Tease Cabaret's Tin Ker Bell and Kitty Lit Ter. Fun will be had, let me tell you that alright!

And after that a quick relaxing day in Helsinki and on the 7th of Feb me and Cherrie are making another quick trip, but this time to Riga to see this never heard band..... rammstein.
